| I have resided in Porterdale since
1996. I am the proud mother of three children and four
grandchildren. After being elected to the city council in 2007, I
have worked very hard to be a voice for the people and vote for what
I believe is best for them. I am very excited about being re-elected
to serve our city for another term. |
| I
am really looking forward to working with the new members elected
this term. We will be working as a team and plan on building our
Police Dept. back up to standards that will serve our city in an
efficient way. As we all realize the budget constraints are an
issue, we will work tirelessly to stop furloughs and give our city
employees a more stable work environment. While making sure to look
at the city for future growth.
|
| In
all my free time these days I work on the C.A.R.E. Program ,
assisting residents anyway I can, I have the pleasure of working
with a wonderful group of folks that make up our committee. We have
made a lot of difference in the City that we are very proud of.
While C.A.R.E. is not a part of the city council position , being on
the council does make it much easier to make contact with residents
in need. |
| Thank
you voters for the confidence you have shown in re-electing me, it
is my pleasure to serve you!!! I am always open to speak with you
and will do my best to assist you anyway I can.
