Porterdale Senior Group

The Group had it's first meeting at City Hall on Saturday February 06, 2010 at 1:00 pm with about 20 attending. The main purpose for the meeting was to determine if enough people would be interested in starting a weekly or monthly activity and to poll the people to see what they would be interested in doing at the meetings. Everyone in attendance was given the opportunity to fill out a form to show their interest and times they would be able to participate. 

In attendance were some newcomers to Porterdale and a few of the old natives of the Village. Some of the locals shared some of the towns history and yearly events that took place back when.
