ALL WATER BILLS ARE TO BE PAID AT CITY HALL.

Water meters are read the last three working days of each month.

	Water Bills are due on the 5th of each month.
	If bill is not paid by the 5th a $8.00 late charge will be added.
	If bill is not paid be the 15th a hang tag will be issued and a additional $20.00 charge will be added to your bill.
	If not paid by the 17th of the month services will be disconnected .
	The cost to turn your meter back on after your bill has been paid will be $55.00 during normal business hours

WATER, SEWER AND OTHER RESIDENTIAL RATES:

Water per 1,000 gallons $ 6.60
Sewage per 1,000 gallons $ 7.27
Household Garbage (City Issued Garbage Can with Weekly Pick Up) $ 20.00
Household Garbage Senior Citizen Rate $10.00

Sewage per 1,000 gallons $ 7.98

MISCELLANEOUS FEES

Meter at entrance to new development: $75.00 meter is installed for 90 days. If more time is needed developer must request extension (Maximum time is 270 days).

THEFT OF WATER:

• At the City’s discretion only the actual value of water taken may be charged or
• At the City’s discretion the actual value of water taken plus $1,000.00 may be charged.

PENALTY FOR CROSS CONNECTION:

• Applies to any connection not approved or paid for at above charges on City system and any other source of water.
• Any cost incurred by the City in disconnection and removing a cross connection will be added to the penalty charge as shown above, including any legal fees or fines incurred by the City.
